I have seen lots of different ways to clean wood but I just wanna know a way I can make sure no bugs or fungus get in. Should I boil or bake it.

Either one would kill them since they both use heat.

I usually bake wood at 200F for half an hour.

I don’t boil so I have no advice there.

So I have not cleaned the wood yet because I just realized that we don’t know what type of wood it is. We found them randomly scattered around a beach so we can’t really tell. I don’t want to risk hurting my crabs but I don’t know what to do. Thanks
