A couple questions

I'm planning to build a 4ft by 1.6ft by 2.5ft tank (ik weird dimensions) with build in pools, each 3.3 gallons on the right side of the tank. I was just wondering is 10mm glass sufficient to build this tank assuming there are 3 2-inch braces on top of the tank? And also, is there any way to further ensure that the built in pools will not leak/break? Any advice is welcome:)

I just did something similar with acrylic. The glass on a normal tank is about an 1/8 inch (idk what that is in mm) but large tanks can get up to 1/2 inch. With the braces you’ll probably be good with 1/8-1/2 inch.
If you’re using glass you can use silicone to seal it. But with acrylic the silicone won’t stick and it WILL leak. In that case you use weld on 3.
