I will be going out of town in a few days. The town I'm going to has a petsmart, pet co, an exotic pet store, hobby lobby, lowes, and home depot. I will be going to all these places to hunt down crab supplies for the second story such as hides, wood, egg crate, a hamster wheel and 100% silicone or aquarium sealant. So I maybe wont have to order anything and can save a ton on shipping. I would really appreciate suggestions from everyone on some specific things to look out for. And at what store might I be able to find organic hemp twine/rope?

Re: Tank supply suggestions
Hobby Lobby has tons of plants that can be used inside the crabitat! You will want to avoid any that appear to be painted, have glitter, or any types of tiny seed like pellets on them. A rinse in dechlorinated water should be enough to clean them. We personally avoid any plants that have fabric leaves or flowers. A bored hermit can shred them and make a real mess! Hobby Lobby usually has an assortment of different colored crafting mesh too!
We had some problems finding wheels at stores in smaller sizes recently. I believe it is probably due to the shipping containers being delayed due to the pandemic. Even online stores were out of stock on some models.
At the home improvement stores you should be able to find egg crate in the ceiling tile section. It would be best to get your 100% silicone here too. It will be cheaper than a pet store. Be sure it is 100% silicone WITHOUT any mold protection. Some brands even say aquarium safe. As long as it it 100% silicone you should be safe.

Awesome, I was wondering about plants as basically all aquarium plants are pretty floppy. I'll get some sturdy plastic vines and such for them to climb. I'm hoping I can find some cool mopani pieces or at least some good cork bark flats. And I'll be sure to bring my work pliers to cut the sheet of egg crate to fit my trunk, just in case they won't chop it in half for me. These little guys have no idea what's in store. I have to tell you that my crabs absolutely love their wheel...and it is hilarious to watch them play on it! So glad I finally got one!
Have fun with getting all the tank stuff and setting it up, so much fun!

I found a sturdy broad leaf, small tree? In the reptile section at petco, my crabs love their's and sit in it often.
