Is PVC glue safe?

Post by hermilove » Mon May 02, 2022 9:18 am

I’m planning on making support frames for my water tanks and I’ve seen a few images of it done with pvc. It looked like they used PVC glue but I am unsure if it would be considered safe. Would a dry fit be better?

Once it's cured it's safe, but it can take a couple days to air out. You may want to work outside because the odor is powerful. I've used both primer and pvc glue for hermits and fiddlers.
