Spare Legos? **Update with pics**
I built my hermies a couple three-walled huts out of Legos. Then I stacked the one house on top of the other, built a support leg out of more Legos, twisted a rubber vine in a spiral to the doorway of the second level, and then filled the huts with moss. For the top level, I cut a piece of that coconut fiber stuff into a rectangle and fitted it on for the roof.
If I ever get my hands on a digital camera, I'll post a pic.

Here it is put together.

I fill both the top and bottom parts with moss.

EDIT: Forgot a pic. I made this with coconut fiber and rubber vine for the "stairway" to the second level.

Eventually, I hotglued them together. Just put a little hot glue into the inside of the lego (It's a lot easier with the four-dot Legos and larger).
Try putting some moss in the lego hut for softness. My tiny crabs seems to utilize the Lego huts the most. The small/medium ones crawl on top of them once in a while, but don't hang out inside.
