I was thinking of putting a flower pot in the crabarium for the crabs to climb on and hang out it. However, most flower pots are smooth, so it would be too hard for my crabs to climb on it. I was thinking that I could glue some rocks or something to the outside of it, to make it easier to climb. Is there any crab-safe glue in existence? If not, what else can I do to make the flower pot more user friendly?
Thanks!

I have seen a few things made for the crabitats etc, that have been glued with hot glue. I would guess that is pretty safe. I have never seen the crabs picking at their shell feeder that was hotglued together, nor their new fake coral sculpture.
And if it ever gets so wet that it comes apart, peel off the old glue and glue it back together again.
That's my humble oppinion.

yea you should use the silicon over hot glue if it is going to come in contact with water, otherwise it doesnt matter. but chemicals from hot glue can get into the water if it sits in it for long periods of time, liek when i made my waterfall i used silicon (NOT silicon II, silicon I!) lol

Okay, I've finally hot glued some sea glass onto an old flower pot. It's kinda scary looking, but the crabs seem to like it. They've spent the last hour exploring it, and Bernie even climbed right over it! I've taken pictures, but they're right in the middle of a roll I haven't finished yet. I'll just have to try to finish up the roll and develop it soon, so I can scan them for you guys to see.
