Ready to paint wood products at craft store...

are they safe? I do not know what kind of wood they are but i bought a box i have on its side to use for a shell shop and they also climd on top of it.

I think a lot of those things are made out of pine. A lot of people are wary about using pine around their crabs.

I wouldn't use it... Anyways, the wood would probably rot with the humidity of the tank.

If you soak your wood in salt water, it's usually okay, in regards to molding, atleast.
