HCA: Hermit Crab Association

i just bought some sphagnum moss sheets at the dollar tree. they are attatched to a plastic netting. the brand is Floral Garden. any one use these? how do i find out if they are ok?

My guess would be to do a search and see if that company uses any type of harmful chemical when attaching it to the netting?
Hopefully someone else will come along with more knowledge of that company.

i searched the company name and it just took me to dollar tree. i dont even have my setup or crabs yet, so i have time to check them out. It says natural moss, but thats not saying what they used to adhere it to the net.

There's still a good chance that the moss was sprayed with pesticides to kill of any insects. Most of the craft mosses have been sprayed, which is we we always recommend the pet mosses.

ok i guess i can use them for something else.
