King crabs
It is believed that true king crabs are descended from hermits by some people. I cannot now unsee the resemblance especially from the backside of a king crab to coconut crabs.

Yup! I'm just beginning to explore crab phylogeny (the ways they are thought to be related/decended) and it's pretty cool! If you are interested, I have a paper I don't mind summing up for ya in a PM.

I swear I AM working on it... heh - just once I started writing the thing got bigger (like everything I do, because I'm addicted to digression), so it'll take a minute longer to serve up in concise & readable form. But it is coming.
