I also have two American toads rescued from a basement and garage in winter, and a Fowler's I had dug up and kind of crushed as a baby while moving perennials in late winter who turned out okay. That trio of idiots is in a 40 breeder.

Re: New frog enclosure!
I also pumped out the golden gecko enclosure last week. That one took like a year because I kept avoiding it!
Base is a 30 breeder than came with a hermit adoption, cracked. It was probably a saltwater frag display from a pet shop originally, so it was an odd tank!
Turned it on its side since these geckos are climbers. Great foamed in elm bark that fell from a tree in my backyard during a bad windstorm along with two branches and two jiffy pots. Cut away the foam to make it look neat and patched exposed foam with a mixture of peat moss and moss with titebond III and cement hardener. It came out looking so flat and brown! I HATED it. Went back over with fluffy forest moss and titebond III and absolutely loved it.
Made the front by epoxying in a piece of plexi at the bottom, then made the door from scratch using window screening parts and small hinges. I made it with a trap door at the bottom so I could do food and water without her getting out. She is an escape artist, she got out three times, and every time I have to pray she comes back on her own for meals as she is too fast and can run on ceilings so there is no catching her.
Added in live and fake plants (the fake ones are the ones on the sides), contact papered the sides to hide the ugly great foam, got it into place and then went to water it and it leaked everywhere.
Forgot to test it. Had to sop everything up with paper towels, push the sub back and emergency silicon the inside front so it went from looking perfect to looking messy. Oh well. It is water tight now.
Gigi is a rescue, and I wanted her to have a good tank, and the space for maybe a friend if I can find another to adopt or rescue. I do not ever recommend getting a golden gecko, they are all wild caught, usually as adults, and are terrified of humans. I never see her!
