Hmm...Their really unique, I'd love to try and get some in the future, right now I'd like to get the hang on the land hermit crabs first since their fairly new to me.

I think I remember reading somewhere sometimes when you buy live rock you get things like marine hermit crabs?

Yes, occassionally. Most of them are from Clibanarius genus.

great to "see" you again! amazing pics! you have a really nice assortment, what kind of setup do they live in (size-wise)? are they all tropical? i know several of those species are aggressive, so i wonder if they are housed together. i miss my MHC...i used to have about 16 different species. i was never quite sure on some of the species identification, and there was one i never had even a clue on, and it drove me a bit batty. do you know what species this is? i submited the pic to Bob Fenner, the wet web media guy, but all he said was "some sort of diogenid, will likely consume all others in time." his "stripes" are so beautiful though, i find it hard to believe the species wouldn't be named.
