HCA: Hermit Crab Association

Hello!
A member of a Swedish hermit crab forum is wondering what species her hermit crab is. I believe it is some sort of marine hermit crab, but I know pretty much nothing about those.

She has been to Tanzania on vacation and brought some shells back with her, but when she got home she discovered that one of the shells already was owned by someone. :roll:

I don't know this person, but asked for her permission to use her pics and ask you all what you think about this little hermit crab.

Definitely a marine crabby. Hopefully someone else more knowledgeable in MHC will chime in with species.

I think this crab is might be a nigerian hermit crab, but I don't think they live in Tanzania. They live in mangroves and are semi-aquatic. I'm not sure on their care and I don't think they're often kept as pets either.
