Luckily Europa seemed more interested in Lunar than he did her. I'm still weary that he might eat her but for now they seem to be friendly.

If he can catch her, he will eat her.
Horizontal stripes that strong on a Betta means that she is extremely stressed!

Although it is adorable, I would recommend some sort of mesh lid to separate them. Beautiful crabs and fish!

You might want to add some sort of sand before the edgae of the pool so that they don't track coco fibre into the water I have a sexed pair of gecarcoidea lallandi (they didn't find out one was a female before import ) and they are very very messy
