HCA: Hermit Crab Association

Beware of snails from Murex ( Muricidae ) family. Tonight has been my second time seeing it suffocate a Clibanarius striolatus to death with its slime and perhaps it sucked the protein or liquid meat from the hermit crab ( no wonder ... mollusks like octopuses and cuttlefishes also eat Crustacean ).
You may feed any carnivorous sea snails with other snails ( such as Nerites & Turbos - and after the predator snail finishes its meal the shell will be very clean & good for hermit crabs ).

thats horrible D: imagine someone accidentally putting one in their tank with their hermit crabs (is that how you ended up seeing that?)

I had a freshwater snail trap and eat kuhli loaches before. Snails are always seen as these cute slow stupid things, but they can be an amazing predator as well.
