Emperor Scorpions - Babies 10/11

I don't know if anyone here remembers, but at the end of June I was concerned because one of my two original scorpions was all swollen up and I couldn't figure out why. A week later and I saw the both of them and they both looked okay, so I figured it was just them overeating.
Well, I figured out the why tonight. BABIES!!
(I squealed so hard earlier I actually have a sore throat now. )
This whole time I thought they were brothers. And if I had had a clue that one was a female and that she was prego I would have separated them. I have no idea if the male is still alive or not - lady scorps tend to get murderous when there's babies to protect... Just have to wait and see what happens. But now I know why one was sitting out so much these past few months! Must have been giving mom room, so I'm hopeful he's okay.
Anyway, I saw at least 5 little ones, and they're somewhere over 2 months old. I have NO idea how I missed seeing them for so long. I feel so bad! I've only been feeding their parents this whole time. We ran out 5 minutes after I spotted them for some teeny crickets so they could have a good meal. They do look really healthy though. Would love to get a headcount, but I don't want to tear their tank apart to do it. They look like they should be molting soon, so if I'm lucky and they all end up on the surface, I can count molted exos and find out that way.
(By the way, this whole thing is bizarre. Emps aren't supposed to be able to reproduce until they're close to 4 years old. They also carry their young for 9 to 18 months before giving birth. So my little momma was 18 months old when she got knocked up.... I also don't have the right kind of breeding set-up (no flat rocks), and to the best of my knowledge dad was sharing a burrow this whole time, which is also unheard of. So... yeah. My house is full of weirdness. O.o )
Still babies!
Now, to find homes for my other litter of 14, or I won't have room for all these things...
(Did I mention I was walking into the room with a brand new pregnant scorp that I bought today when I looked up and saw these babies? I was missing having scorpion babies so much that I couldn't pass her up when I saw her. Yeah.... I'll be swarming in Emps in another month. )
