Re: 55 and 40
Honestly I'm really lucky, we got all of our Mopani wood and good decor from adoptions. The most money I've spent on crab supplies over the last two years has been on shells (and maybe a bulk food purchase from Hermit Crab Garden, but her stuff is so great, how could I not???).CallaLily wrote:Nice! That's where I put their moss. I also made the crabs mad because I moved things around again, and tried to redo the ex roomies tank as well. Since she is about to move all of her crabs to her new place, we'd had the tank a little bare bones but I wanted to give the crabs more hiding spots, and greenery. I have to have something green in the tank.
I really want to find a tank that is double the width of the 55 but I am not sure if they make them that wide commercially or if I would just need to build it myself. One of the things I can't stand about living in an apartment is that I need an actual workspace where I can do large scale DIYs.

I love the multicolored leaves they're so pretty. This makes me want to rearrange my tank, I've kind of left it as is for awhile so maybe a change would be nice.

If you go back through all my pictures over the last couple of years here, you'll see that I can't either!Rawrgeous wrote:I love the multicolored leaves they're so pretty. This makes me want to rearrange my tank, I've kind of left it as is for awhile so maybe a change would be nice.

Really nice tanks... I live the mouse wheel!
Knock out the back wall of each 55g and then glue (silicone) them together.... Straight away you got me thinking of a popular youtuber of DIY fishkeeping....I really want to find a tank that is double the width of the 55 but I am not sure if they make them that wide commercially or if I would just need to build it myself. I have the same wheel sitting in my crab storage stuff. I have never used it..maybe I will toss it in one of the tanks..if I can find the room! It is crazy that they know how to use it
