Just a guess, but it looks like this: CYMATIUM MURICINUM Here is the link. They might have cut off the tip of it.

Don't think that's it. It has narrow teeth on the inside rim and it hasn't been cut. I plucked it right off the beach.

It could be a hairy triton. The colors and teeth are similar. Mine isnt as "pointy" but, shells are certainly all a bit unique.
