Is cleaning shells with bleach safe for Hermit Crab after cleaned / rinsed thoroughly ? and vinegar too. Or what's the best way to clean shells ?

You can boil shells in tap water to disinfect them.

If you aren't actually polishing them, could you try olive oil to shine them up a bit? I don't think you'll get a really good polished look without actually polishing them tho.
