I love your tank and how you did your second level. Where did most of your plants come from?

How exactly do the rods as a second level work? Do you tie everything to the rods?
Re: Crabatat Video...
The rods are acrylic. Use 1/2 inch diameter. Drill about 1/8" holes into the rods every few inches. Use a very sharp drill bit and go slowly or you will break the rods. Once the rods are drilled. Silicone them to the sides of the tank with aquarium safe silicone. The drilled holes should be going vertical NOT horizontal. Use very small zip ties and zip tie Cholla wood or tupperware or anything else you need to.

Most of my plants came from Michaels craft store here in Florida. One of them I stole from one of the fake trees my wife has here in the house.

Wow, that is just AWESOME! Love your tat!
Quick question: you were saying in the video that you used GreatStuff on PVC to create the tunnel/hide, then I'm assuming some kind of slurry/mix of silicone and Eco Earth (at least that's what it looks like). How did you separate the GreatStuff and PVC? Did it just slide right off, or did you have to put something on the PVC for that to happen?
Also, any worries or problems about the acrylic rods coming off? I've heard that even silicone can come off the side of a tank eventually, especially with all the water/humidity it has in there.
thanks!

Nicely Done! I would love to see more about your ideas for the acrylic rods. The floating second level is very cool.
