Forgot to share during the excitement

This is Hestia. Goddess of the hearth. She changed shells into the second one within an hour of being in the main tank. She was out and about this morning hanging out like the others. The petstore said they had her for over a week and of the 3 she was happy to come out in my hand to visit while the other 2 were refusing to do anything except wiggle their open claws. She seems to be used to people so that is great. Here she is before and after she changed shells.

She's adorable! I love when they are comfortable around us; it makes bonding with them easier. :D

She is sweet. She snuggles up to my hand when I hold her. I am leaving her alone to destress but handling her getting her pictures and into the tank was really nice.

I think that day they had bah hum bugs, sub mix, strawberry mix amongst some other stuff i can't think of. It looked awesome until they got in there and mixed it all together. The black and white is the crushed oysters shell calcium supplement and worm castinga. They had lots of treats that day too to make up for the time in the tote when I was dealing with the false bottom issue. Some of all 5 kinds of popcorn, walnuts, banana chips and so on.
