Looks like you have a pretty good selection! Where are all of those Japanese snail shells From? I used to have a crab who was a die hard for those shells Image how many crabs do you have? I don't think I've ever met anyone else from Manitoba who has them yet  well, other than a local friend of mine.
I have four crabs, all PPs. Three of them were from a local pet shop called Pet Peripherals that closed down last year, and one is from Petland (Ugh Petland, I know). I think most of the Japanese snail shells were from the Michael's grab bag.

Also I'd like to point out that from my understanding pet land in Canada is much better than the states! The last one I was in really didn't have horrible conditions. It was in Saskatchewan.

Yes, the Petland stores in Canada aren't too bad, the conditions are better than those at Petsmart as well, but I still have issues with them sometimes. For instance, I don't like that they allow people to just walk up and start playing with all the animals. It stresses them out and a crab could easily be accidentally dropped, or flung across a room if it pinched anyone. The Petland where I got my newest hermie had them in an open enclosure that, while being very spacious, had no humidity at all and the water dish was much too shallow for the larger crabs. Although I do have to say that I was impressed that they made me sign a document prior to purchase stating that I understand and agree to provide a permanent home for the crab for the rest of its life.

PS. I'm not sure about the cholla.

I realize that I might be using the quote function too much. I'm still new to using forums and I'm not sure when it's necessary and when it's not. Also, sorry if my responses are too long.

Ahh yes, I don't like that either about pet land. I adopted my Guinea pig from there and to this day (almost 5 years later) she only goes up to the people she's known for a long time. Took forever for her to come around to me.

I think. I remember there being some that are missing and I don't think the crabs are wearing them....

I'm going to find another hidden box in the next couple of years and scream. I know I am.

For scale, the green ones in them middle are 4 to 5 inches long.

When I got my first two hermit crabs I got so excited and started ordering shells and I was ordering the wrong size. when they all came in I was like oh my gosh these are humongous! so I put them away for them to grow into them later. these are all the ones that are too big.Image

Can I go shell shopping at your house? I'm so jealous of your collection if you ever want to downsize let me know! My collection is about a fourth of that.
