It's pretty exciting after 10 months with no shell changes. Now my E has tried two different shells! Here is how I found him this morning. I wouldn't have guessed he'd try this shape of a shell.

There's no way to tell the gender from here, the way to tell their gender is to look under them and on the last pair of legs if theirs a dot it's a girl, if it has no dot it's a boy. I know it's confusing so there's probably a sticky somewhere about it that you can read and see pictures.

And a new pic of hermie this morning, in another shell.
I'm happy that he is now hanging out under the coconut with one of the tiny purple pincers I rescued from a reptile store. I brought two home in November and right away they dove under the substrate for weeks. One of them came up last week.
