Re: 125g Build as I go...Completed!

My dad and I managed to get the tank upstairs, which was a task in itself!
Got my false bottom back in, and started adding the sand. I used a bit more eco this time around too. Sorry for the glare on the pics!

Needless to say, the crabs have made quit the mess in here already! Here are a few shots of them exploring their new home
Coral is loving all the space! I moved her from my 20g. Once I added my straws, she ran to them and hopped on Bella's back :hlol:

Now I guess I sit back and enjoy them?! Nothing else to do? Hmmm...this is new!

WOW! The finished crabitat (well, no crabitat is ever really finished, is it?) is absolutely gorgeous! Wonderful use of space, innovative decor (love all that cholla), beautiful plants...the crabs will be soooo happy in there. Thanks for sharing the evolution of this project -- it's an inspiration to us all.

That tank is absolutely amazing!! I love all of the cholla wood...very jealous of that and the size of the tank! And I think I have the same corner shelf as the one you have on the left side. :D

I was looking at the pics and going... "I seen a video of that tank somewhere..." Took me a while to realise it was on the HCA talk page. Looks amazing though, I could tell that the crabbies are loving it.

thanks everyone! It was a fun project, and my crabs seem pretty happy!

here is coral and big papa, the filters were off in this pic. I have them up and running now, thanks to kellycrabbie for all her help with that ;)
Image

Pearl also came up from her molt in my 35g and I moved her to the 125g. She switched shells again (diva) and is loving all the room in the larger tank
Image

I got a few new crabbies for my 55g, only have pics of two though. They are so sweet.
Image

my daughter and I could not resist this crab. It is the smallest crab I have ever seen in person. Its smaller then a dime and so adorable. My daughter named it baby. So in love! :cloud9:

Cant leave out Barnaby

Where did you get the strawberries and also i have a crab just like baby! I rescued him from my friend who had tons of mites in her tank and they freaked her out so much she just left the tank out in the garage with the crabs still in it. They are doing fine now, but she had a tiny one and he is super cute
