6 PP's Adopted Today!!

So I got a PM from dewfeathers asking if I could adopt her crabs. We met about an hour away, at the half way point this afternoon, and I brought these beautiful healthy babies home with me. First lets meet everyone

These crabs are seriously just awesome! They have made themselves right at home and are climbing and exploring like crazy. All have molted and have sharp little toe nails. I got some pretty good pics this evening of them out and about.

This pretty babe went to the pools, explored a bit and then went behind a cork flat, where my other crabs hide during the day.

This medium came in this magpie and is lapping the tank and climbing everything! Super active little one!

This guy is super cute and laid back. A little skittish when he sees me, but is coming out and exploring one side of the tat.

This guy is the most active. I think he has a crush on my straws. First he was hassling bubbles a bit, so I moved him to the other side. He settled down for a bit and then was on the move again. He even woke up Bella and she came out to remind everyone she was here first..and bigger lol

Bella is all full of sand, but wants to make sure she is not forgotten!

Isn't Blue gorgeous after that 2 month molt?!

These guys are so happy and healthy and I am so thankful dewfeathers (Alicia) contacted me about them. I promise to give them a great home! Hopefully the other two come out of hiding so I can get photos of them too.

And lastly, the crab guardians Luka and Rolan. Hard at work making sure no crab escapes the crabitat! Lol..

Haha yes they do! Little Luka tried to jump on top of the lid but usually hits the glass and bounces off. It's pretty tall! Got my step stool right there. Feel like an old lady lol

Thanks guys! Yes I am very blessed they are all so lively, happy and healthy. They are even out and about today! It's so fun to see them active during the day

They're all gorgeous and look so strong and healthy...it's easy to see that they've been properly and lovingly cared for.

Love Mr Magpie and am delighted to see a PP wear one by choice. So cute that Pearl Green Turbo is enamored of the straws

but, if he intends to court Bella, he'd better learn a few pick-up lines in Strawberry

Haha first he started with bubbles and she wasn't feeling it and threw up her big pincher at him (which I have never seen any of my crabs do). He wouldn't leave her alone, so I had to move him away, so she could have her "space". Bubbles is super laid back and doesn't like being messed with, if it's not on her terms.

Bella on the other hand was just like whatever, follow me around, put your antennas in my face and eyeballs. No matter, I will just walk over here. Which of course he followed her. lol! He is easily distracted though and sees a different crab and will run that direction. Their personalities are so different and fun. It's been really fun watching and getting to know all of them.

I know it was really hard for Alicia to say goodbye to them, which is very understandable after having them for the last 24hrs, but they are very happy, I promise

Finally got a pic of this gal! She came to be wearing this;

Last night she changed shells and is out and about climbing the roof and trying to get in the moss pit. This shell really brings out her purple. Gorgeous!

Aww she does look super pretty in that shell. I've seen her wear white ones before but she's been hanging onto that green one for a while.

Congrats on the gorgeous adoptions! It's so nice to have a photo-documentary of new crabs introduction to their new home! That pics of Bella all covered in sand....

Lol right, she is such a goof. She was just standing there like "hey, what's all the commotion out here. It's the middle of the day you new crabs, why are you out and digging at my hole". She had to make sure her presence was known. Lol
