Here is my crabitat! I am very proud of it, for being my first real set up. I had a ten gallon tank, with a few things in it, but I upgraded after a week and went over the top (in my opinion). But then I see everyone else's tanks, and I must say, they are phenomenal! I love adding new things to my tank, and I keep having the urge to upgrade to a bigger one!

Here was the final product of my 29 gallon set up.

And here it is now, with a little bit of remodeling.

I went from a 10gal to a 29gal in a week, and then to a 75gal a month after that! Upgrading is prob the most addictive thing about crabbing! Image Even if I'm not increasing tank size, I love improving the tat and its contents!

I swear if I made money by myself (not old enough yet, 6 months to go) I would spend it all on my crabs and have a huge tank with a lot of décor and a huge diet lol.

Are breeder aquariums taller than the norm? Wider? What's the difference :? ?

After looking at so many new set-ups, I'm jealous and want nothing best for my 3 remaining PPs. I'm starting to cruise CL for a "good size" tank but have never owned anything larger than a 29g (and that was for my mice). Added height above the standard 12" would be great. Of course, a bigger tank would mean more crabbies, too!
PPs are Big Enzo, Charles Paris and Mr Pinch

Someone else correct me if i am wrong but the 40 breeder is the standard compared to the longs or talls. My last tank was a 20g Long

Here check it out http://www.aquariumdimensions.com/

Thanks for that link, Erik -- super helpful. My 3 guys are still in a 10g and my mice are in 20L. A 20L for the guys would add room but not height. I like the roomier dimensions of the 40GB so I'll keep my eyes peeled on CL.
