I'm wondering if a 60w heat emitter would do the trick for my tank :o

I would go for 100. I actually had a 40B before the 90 gallon, and the 100 was perfect :). Also, I forgot to tell you that yes, that is the lid I was talking about

My tank is only 20g tall oh how I wish it was 40 xD just looking at the lids right now online to see what one will fit best and about drilling holes (as I can get moms husband to do that) do you need a special bit or anything? :D sorry I gotta lotsa questions as I wanna do it right this time :) 100W wouldn't raise it up too high?

I'm yet to drill some in my new lids, but in the last one, I just used a regular drill bit and tried to make the holes line up in a straight line. Just make sure the holes aren't too big, in case a crabby tries to escape :)

The Original lid is 19 1/2 inches, so what size glass canopy would fit the 16' or the 20? I'm just doing research now as I've decided to wait a while long as I'm going to take a spring class from may-June so i may wait til June to get the new guys, as I still need to do a ton of research. It'll give me time to look around, and find things that I want :] As I'm gonna switch over to Oceanic as well... gives me time to save and put money aside in the "hermie fund" I'll have more time to take care of them when I'm completely outta school for the summer that is why I have decided to hold off, and just get things a little bit at a time. As I wanna make sure that these new guys that will be coming home will get the best care!

The dimensions on the glass lids are "listed" as the length of the tank. So if your outer length of the tank is 20", you will want the 20".

I found a 20 gallon long tank for $20. My mom would hate me as she doesn't think I could fit a 20 gallon in my room, but i could I think, and I think it would give the crabs way more space to roam. So, I don't know D:
