Update: got my sub in and is settling. In my other tank, it settled 2 inches. Based on that, I went ahead and put 12 inches in it so that I wouldn't have to top it off later. Hopefully it ends up being around 10 inches. I'm hoping to have it decorated later today. My 1st or bottom 'base' bowl is curing. I just have to cut the plastic canvas for the top water bowls and they are done. My hoods/lights, timer, and rheostat are supposed to be here Monday. Then it'll be ready for crabbies. Finished pics will be posted soon.

Oh so cute!! Does he have a hint of green on his legs or maybe it's the reflection from the green netting and the green dish? Can't wait to see it when it's all complete!!

Yes, he has some green. I've never seen a crab with so many different colors. He has tan, green, brown, orange, white and a hint of purples. All the E pics here are mostly tan. In fact, his specie buddy is tan but he is a lot smaller than the one pictured. I'm new to keeping Es. All I've owned so far are PPs and Straws. So this was totally different for me. :)

Edit- guess his name is going to be rainbow because of all his colors.

He's gorgeous Daws! I love my e's! Straws and pp's are beautiful, but e's have the best personalities!!
Truly blessed to have incredible creatures, wonderful friends and my amazing family in my life!! I'm very thankful & grateful for all of them! www.thehealthyhermit.com

She drove from other side of Richmond, VA to me. But she recently moved there from Washington state. So I don't know if they moved with her or they're actually from VA. She didn't say just that she's had some for 3 years and the newer ones less than a year. She also didn't know she had different species until I mentioned it.... I've heard from other crabbers that there are some in VA but I haven't looked myself. :)

Huh, maybe when I move up to Savannah I can drive up and adopt some! I actually might need a foster in Savannah/Georgia for a few years while I'm in a dorm for my crabs (assuming I can't sneak them in Image)

Haha I have the same prob- I'm going off to college but I think I can entrust my mom with the care of all of my pets (as well assuming I can't sneak them in)
