I have a thought. With plexiglass, if it has been scored/roughened up, I believe it will then adhere better with aquarium silicone. I have made many plexiglass items that needed to be air-tight at work.

What if you used expoxy on the joints covered with aquarium silicone sealant to prevent any contact with dried expoxy?

It will help to 'roughened', however it will still fail in due time. Plexiglass has oils that basically eat away at the 'bond' causing it to fail. Products like Weld on work as they basically fuse 2 pieces of plexi togethor, but will not work for glass.

Well I cut the plexi with a saw. It wasn't the cleanest or straightest cut unfortunately. But I won't be able to find out Howe had has leaking until the crabs come back up.
