Crabby Cam Videos (Updated 12/30/19)

I love the vids!! I'm not tech savvy at all so this may sound ignorant, but what kind of video camera do you use? I have no idea but I love the idea

We just use the $20 Wyze Cam. They take just as long unboxing as actually setting them up. They are awesome for the crabs as you can see. You catch them doing all sorts of silly stuff when you use a micro SD card and record! I need a new card in Crabby Cam #1, it became corrupted and can't reformat it on the cam or on my lap top. Crabby Can #2 is still recording though!

I use 100% organic edamame pasta, and they love it.

Oh wow- where do you find something like that? A place like Whole Foods? Tia! That video is so funny, but I especially enjoyed the one where one was on the wheel at the bottom and had the other turned so it was hanging on the top! That was so funny! I love watching your straws especially, they’re so beautiful. And mischievous.

Edit- oops! Saw the other post re normal organic pasta. Awesome- that’s what I usually use anyway, more or less. Still curious about the edemame though!

The first two videos are of their favorite pass time the wheel! What happens when four guys pile in the wheel, and someone taking a different approach at using the wheel.

The other two videos I uploaded on another thread so figured I would add them here. They are of the enrichment toys I made and the crab using them.

Thanks. I believe the color boosting foods I purchased from Etsy from The Cholla Queen are the secret. After their last molts most of them seem to have gotten darker. Even the rescue I got in January seems to have darkened after his first molt with me.

And does the popcorn mesh container have an opening or is it semi-closed to provide a challenge for them?

I made cut 3x3 squares out of each side big enough for the crabs to reach their small claws into. I posted a tutorial a few months ago. Look for the "enrichment toy" thread.
