My buddy Cousin Bobby Joe :)

Post by Rose7314 » Tue Sep 02, 2014 6:10 am

I've had Cousin Bobby Joe, a.k.a B.J., for almost a year now and he is still one of my favorite PP's that I have had so far.

This is B.J when I first got him. He was so active that he brought the shyer crabs right out of their shells and before I knew it they were all happily chumming about.

This is B.J today, about three molts later. Instead of being red he is turning and orange color. Is this bad when they go from being red (color may be a little enhanced from a flash) to an orange color? He is still very active and has a huge appetite! He gobbles down grapes like there is no tomorrow. In fact this morning he was furiously ripping at my hand and when I moved it he started to run and chase it lol so I boiled him and egg cause he seems to be shunning the krill. Anyway, that's my buddy and how he has become a man eater :)
Some days I just have a little weirdness running through my blood :)

Holy red! That is one handsome crab! Try a UVB light if you don't have one. I'm a strong believer in them helping coloration if you're worried about "losing" his red.

1 Pembroke Welsh Corgi (Thorin)
