HCA: Hermit Crab Association

Went to Grapevine Mills today for a trip to Legoland.
Of course they had a crab kiosk. This one was the worst. They didn't even have sponges out for the crabs AND they glued Dallas Cowboys football helmets to some of the larger crabs shells. This man wanted 25 for two crabs and I was like..nope..they're 7 a piece at Petsmart. I ended up getting 4 for 25.00.
Brought the poor guys straight home, bathed, and now they're in their new home.
I think StarLord (red white blue shell) is the largest crab I own to date. I also got two small crabs, which I didn't have before.

Thank you for doing a very great deed today! As bad as some of the Petco and PetSmart set ups can be, those crab kiosks are simply vile. You can just imagine the "excellent" crab care information passed on by the folks who run them, after gouging new owners on the price .

I couldn't believe they glued those helmets on them. I wish I had a bigger tank to rescue more but I also don't want to give those people money and perpetuate the cruelty so it's a catch .22

Groot is also now waiting for spongebob to switch shells. He actually reached out and tapped him with a pinched while he was examining a babylonica. Like "excuse me sir could you hurry it up?"
