Swapping shells...finally!

So my tiniest of 3 crabs, Junior recently just switched shells. He's the last to change out of the nasty painted shells and so far I've been able to scrape the paint off of all the shells and put them back in the tank.
This was Junior before switching shells
This is him after
It's cute because him and Bert are now twins. They follow each other around like brothers and it's the most cutest thing ever!
(But in the process I was able to get this beautiful shell!) it's tiny but maybe when I get more crabs of Juniors size they'll take a liking to it.
Mommy to 4.
3 crabs; Bert, Ernie&Junior (All PP's)
1 puppy; Roy (whom I share with the beloved)

Very nice! No more icky painted shells
.
My crabs were twins, till one of them switched shells.
Nice that you got the paint off so the shells are still usable.

Yay! No more painted shells
! It's such a triumph for us when they finally choose a natural shell. Interesting that Junior went from a whale-eye shell to a babylonia rather than a turbo -- I guess the D-shape opening was more familiar to him. My two new little guys switched from painted babylonias to comfy turbos, in spite of being offered new babylonias in the mix.

Yeah. It wasn't easy getting the paint off of the others two shells. But juniors was the easiest one. Barely took 10 minutes

True. But I remember him getting ready to switch into Bert's shell before he switched out of his painted shell but decided not to. Guess he changed his mind :3
