Rescued hermit crab :)

I rescued this little guy the other day from a home that had been neglecting him since they got him this past summer. When I arrived he was in a little critter keeper on a paper towel with no food or water, or heat source of any. Also there was no extra shells. Poor guy....When I brought him to my home I gave him a quick bath, and put him in his new home. He just sat their a min, taking it in lol. Then explored all day, and changed shells immediately, he was in a painted shell, so I was so glad he changed. After that he has been following around one of my hermit crabs since I've had him. ^_^ So cute!

what horrible conditions, what a little trooper he is to have survived so long! so glad he's got a great life ahead of him now! <3

I'm not sure if they took the food and water out of the container before i got their or not. But I saw none around. I still couldn't believe what he was in. He is very happy now though, and gets all excited when he sees one of my other hermit crabs, and follows them around lol. Hes buried right now, prob tunneling around under the sand
I hope he will molt soon, he looks like he is long over do for it.
