I think the flash may have spooked him slightly, he turned around after taking the first pic. This window has been open for a couple of days now, but I have a feeling he might close it now.

Windows can be torture, too. I was waiting for one to come up from molting, and almost 1.5 months later he made a window 1 inch below surface. He stayed there for 2 weeks!!!!! He was the last to get moved into an upgrade, at the time, so i was anxious for him to come up. He would go up when I wasn't looking and go back down before I was back. It was very time consuming to keep trying to catch him up.

Make sure you cover the window and make it pitch dark! They need the darkness for molting and destressing. Light prevents them from being able to molt.
