I have a new Crab!

Post by CrabbyCakes » Thu Aug 06, 2015 11:41 am

My husband’s co-worker has kids and bought them a hermit crab. The kids grew tired of the little guy and I offered to take it. The first photo is of my husband holding him. His sell was painted and had a 3-D face glued on it. I am guessing it is a platypus, but who knows. The first thing Richard (the crab) did was switch shells. I caught him in his new habitat, right after he switched and took out the old shell. He has spent most of the day today playing in the water and eating a strawberry.

I think so too! He is the most vocal crab I have had. He spent a chunk of the day chirping and checking out the other guys.
