So it's been a while...

It feels like it's been ages since I've checked in on HCA! I'm going to school to be a vet tech. The good news is that I spend most of my time learning about or spending time with animals. Sad part is that I rarely get to catch up here. So here goes about a year worth of catching up.
I can't even remember the last time I posted about new crabs but I've been busy adopting and filling my tank up. Since January I've adopted 9 crabs and set up a second tank. I think the last crabs I posted about were Speedy, Hercules, Rosie, and George. Everyone was healthy when I adopted them, except Hercules who was dug up to transfer them to me unfortunately. He was pink and soft when he came to me and dropped a leg on the ride over. Somehow he pulled through and has been striving ever since.
Hercules
Speedy
Rosie
George
After that adoption was Jeff and Jerry. These guys are a hoot! Especially Jeff. And I love Jerry Cherry's coloring.

Lastly, let me introduce Reddington and Keen. These guys are kinda special to me. I got a bunch of free shells from this lady on Craigslist about a year and a half ago. A few months ago I answered another add on Craigslist about two crabs needing a home. Turns out it was the same lady who gave me the free shells! I was so surprised. She had them for almost 10 years before deciding to rehome them! So they're HUGE lol.
Reddington
Keen
And of course last but not least, my first rescue Wilson. Still pale as ever and all over the place.
The rest of the crew is doing well. Bob recently came up from his first moly with me. It only took him a year to get around to it. And Little Mama finally changed out of her murex after carrying it around for nearly a year! I swear she's my little model crab. Never gets shy, even with a camera in her face.

Dinner tonight. They had a special treat, squid and honey along with some crab mixes. It smelled so good it was like ringing the dinner bell in the big and small tanks.
Anyone else see Rosie in the background patiently waiting her turn?
Oh and my best friend moved to Costa Rica! She sent me a picture of the wild hermit crabs that crawl all over the beaches there!
