Dolphin is now 99% paint free!

Before pics in her awful painted shell which included a plaster dolphin glued on.

After several careful attempts I was able to peel the thick paint off.

There is still a tiny bit that needs to be worked on, but I feel better knowing most of the paint came off.

Ugh...why-why-why do they DO that?? The underneath shell was gorgeous! So weird. Anyway, glad you found a way to get it off without making her change shells if she wasn't ready. :)

I agree, the natural shell underneath is much prettier.

Gorgeous natural shell. Great job. I found most of the time I take paint off the planted shells the the natural shell is very pretty.

What did you use to get the paint off?

I peeled it off. It was a very thick paint and it came off in just a few big strips. Not all comes off like this though.
