HCA: Hermit Crab Association

Well im not sure if its full bread blueberry or odd color pp. I figured ill take some pictures and let you guys check her out and its a Female named goliath. she's very active shy at first when you pick her up cus I don't really hold them much but a lil squirt from the squirt bottle and woop shes out and very active and healthy. she loves the dried bananas and river shrimp I give her. once and a while all 3 of my crabs go nuts for peanut butter on bread. Only reason why I asked about what type she is is cus she all purple accept for that one large leg at the bottom its red as you can kinda see in the 3rd picture.

I didn't take pictures of the others because they were in their sand tunnels.

I'd don't know much about crab breeds, but I've never heard mention of hybrids. Beautiful crabby nonetheless! Gorgeous colors! I'm sure someone else here with more knowledge might be able to Id the lil guy.

I'd say you've got either an incredibly purple PP or an Indo.

It is for sure a PP - they have a very distinctive eye shape. You happen to have one with spectacular coloration.

She will forever be known as the hybrid!

Actually my PPs had a spurt of that coloring, after re-surfacing I noticed one after another they were very violet in color. Kaylee, Matty then Adrian. Kaylee has since darkened into red/brown yellow tips like usual.

oh yeah very cool! its a good thing that theres others the same color to. The hybrids shall live on! (not really hybrids but sounds cool)
