My Isopods!

Post by CrabbyCakes » Tue May 10, 2016 7:53 am

I have a new isopod home. They are such fun critters. Not to give my crabs a complex but I think I might be an isopod person

I threw in some chia seeds yesterday and they are already starting to sprout!

So this is the chia 8 hours later. I am sure no one thinks this is as cool as I do, but I think it is fascinating how quickly the chia grows!

The chia in my crab tank is doing well. I threw it all around and then put a bunch in one section. I was hoping the random little seeds would keep them away from the one area I really want it to grow in. I "say" this to you as Jaromeo is eating the seeds in the section I want them in... so maybe not so successful.

@orangeguy that is amazing! That link I posted said the giant ones bite! I really want one now (not due to the bites.)

Wowee!! Mine haven't started sprouting yet, but I think that's partly because Jack was in the seeds overnight!!
