Tough little one

Post by Natejaeg » Wed Sep 06, 2017 2:20 pm

This guy I have had for about 4 months. He is a tough little one. He had been in fights before I fot him, damaged legs and BP, bullied by my bigger crabs for a little while and just now was released from a successful surface molt. He isnt the smallest, or the biggest, but he might be the toughest. Just cant wate untill he gets rid of that painted shell.ImageImage

That's awesome! What's your substrate? I can't tell from the pic. Is it gravel?

I have a tough lil guy like this. When I got him he was missing an eye and most of his end segments of front legs and his shell had 3 holes in it. He's a feisty lil bugger and didn't take any crap from the bigger crabs when he was first put in the main tank and they began to size each other up for dominance. I named him krusty...he was just a krusty kinda guy  he molted and regrew his leg tips and his eye stalk. It's fully formed but still much smaller then his normal eye.

He's cute! I have a cork wood set up like that too. They prefer it when I cover the glass end with some black cloth

Currently my substrate is a sand and EE mix, mostly EE. I am getting more sand soon to add to the mix.
