My 40B setup

Post by lmw142 » Fri Aug 31, 2018 4:08 pm

Hi guys!

It's been a long time since I've posted on here, and I realized I never posted any pictures of my last tank upgrade (almost 2 years ago now.) So here's my 40 gallon breeder tank. These pictures were taken when I first set it up, but it's basically the same except I now have a mesh lid covered with plastic, since one of my cats managed to break part of the glass top. I have 4 hermits in here, all PPs, 2 med-lg, one smaller medium, and a small.

That’s really neat! Looks like a sweet place to live for a crabbie!

Looks really good! Was a long wait for the pics, but worth it! ;)

absolutely beautiful! I regret getting my 55 gal because a 40B looks like it has a lot more room!!!

Thanks!

I had a 55g before I bought the 40B and they definitely have more horizontal space to move around in in the 40 gallon.

I only don't like that 55's don't have the width that I really want.
40 breeders are great, but I don't like the height, so I got a 55 for that.

Eventually I'd like to add a topper so I have more height to work with.
