Aw, he's a little guy, isn't he? Are you sure he molted, though? I can't tell for sure from the pics, but his legs don't look as "hairy" as they usually do after a molt. Maybe he was just down "de-stressing" or just hanging out belowground for a while? How long was he down?

He’s been down for over a month so I just assumed he molted

Maybe he did, maybe he didn’t. Individuals grow up differently and there’s no one way to tell whether they’ve molted or not.
