That's an awesome set up! I love the way the cholla looks in there, and your crabs are adorable (I can see the one examining the shell next to him and the other beginning to come out)!

The one on the top right has started hanging out upside on top of the mesh lid . But he knows how to get down. They certainly are figuring out things fast. They must be smart lol.
Yea I got some changes to make to the pools. I’m adding natural colored gravel to the fresh and crushed coral to the salt. Taking the Malaysian driftwood out too.

Oh, I see him! Yeah, hermies can be quiet intelligent when it comes to being escape artists, but logically sometimes not so much (example-- instead of walking around things in their path (like other crabs) they just crawl over it stubbornly! :lol)! I'm sure it's going to look even better one you add the gravel!

Yup , lol. The salt pool has these tiny fake ornaments I grabbed I don’t know why I was trying to make is resemble something salt haha.
Pool 1 natural pebble gravel. 1 snip of Plastic artificial aquarium plant I had on hand which I use for baby gecko breeding purposes.
Pool 2 has crushed coral substrate. And some cutesy little ornaments lol.
Both moved by air stones on a marina air pump
Both have a mesh ramp I saw 2 of them use already.
Oh and the pools themselves are just spare critter keepers I always have on hand ,

Haha that's cool! I feel like I wanna get my flip flops and swimsuit and park myself by the edge LOL.
That's cool you're making good use out of the critters keepers! I always have a couple spares too. I have fish too, so you never know when you're gonna have to move a fish or crabby around.

They look awesome! If I were a crab I'd lounge there all day!

Thanks a lot! Can pools be too deep? I’m hoping not.

I don't think so. I've seen people on here use 2.5 gallon tanks as pools in larger tanks. As long as they have ramps/mesh that they can easily climb in and out, they should be good to go!
