Finally Finished My Terrarium!

Well I did take time a and a lot of tweaking, but I have completed my hermit crab tank for the most part. I want to add more in the future, but for now this is a good start. This is a 36x18x18 Exoterra tank. It’s completely sealed with foil, and uses both a heating pad and heat lamp. Thankfully even with the light, the humidity is usually 78%+. One side of my tank is about 75 degrees, with the other side being 80 degrees. Feel free to ask any questions!

Oh, looks nice. I love the jungle vibe it has, and I'm sure the EE is also helping maintain proper humidity as well! :)

Looks nice! I've been thinking about getting a couple of those coconuts that hang. Everyone seems to have them! haha.

Oh thank you!! Just make sure to boil the coconut before use. This one had a weird smell at first.

Looks awesome!!! I'd skip the heat lamp and use another UTH or heat cord though.

I definitely tried to go that route. But sadly my bedroom can get below 63 degrees and the UTH alone was warming the tank to 67 degrees. I couldn’t find a feasible way to not use heat lamps. Though the lights are not constantly on, just briefly to bring the temperature up if needed. Hope this explains my situation!

EE stands for Eco Earth…coconut fiber. It’s your substrate . Tank looks great!
