Darn UPS
Ok laurie step aside my turn to rant and rave! So I'm still at work waiting for the darn UPS truck to arrive. I normally would've gotten this package yesterday, but I didn't. No problem figured it would come today usually around 2pm. I need this order for tomorrow morning when I open the store or I still wouldn't be worried about it. We are having a crappie fishing tournament in the morning and I'm out of everything that is in that darn ups package. So I check the tracking on it and I'm told that it will be here by the end of day today. So what the heck is end of day?????? I call explain that we are a business and I will be closing so what time will I get it? They say are your hours posted (yes). Then you should be getting it before you close that's all I can say. Well its been over a month since I've had anything from ups so how are they supposed to remember???? But you would think they would try to get there before 5pm when most small business close here.Oh not to mention they sent it to like 3 different ups locations 1 of them being completely unnecessary and like 3 hours out of the way to and from are location. I ordered this from like 40 miles away in Claremore so it should have went to Tulsa then to Muskogee then to me what's so hard with that? But no it goes Tulsa then Oklahoma City then stays there all day yesterday then gets to Muskogee this morning and is sent on route to me in Wagoner which I should've gotten by now.So its 15 min to close and still no sign of my package.

My great uncle tried to send my big brother a copy of Photo Shop and After Affects (both the creative suites and the full versions) through UPS. But when it got to Washington (from Iowa) it had been broken into and someone had stolen both after affects and Photo Shop! Fedex it is then!

Well I got the package today around 2pm. Luckily we didn't have enough show for the tournament so we decided to postpone it. I guess everyone thought it was to cold to fish.@nick My hubby had something like that happen to him. He order some tackle online and had it shipped to him, but when he went to the mailbox to get the package it had been opened and there was nothing in it. He seen the mail lady pull up to the box and went out to get it so it was opened before delivery. All he could do was to make a report and hoped they found the contents which of course didn't happen. Why would a box that had obviously been opened make it all the way to the house like that without someone stopping it to figure out where the contents were and if they couldn't be found at least attach something saying so?

Fed ex here wanted to leave our box outside of city hall next door to the library when we're not open. Luckily the cop saw him and got it knew that I worked there and where I lived so I had the cop knocking on my front door on main street. Rumors fly fast and hard here! If he didn't intercept our box it would of Sat there for anyone to take until he showed up sometime during the day for a break. Next time the Fed guy came he said something about us being closed during delivery, I don't understand why they can't keep it til we are open. He wanted then to just drop it off at the phone company, or insurance company...where ever! We said no, you either put it in the book drop if it fits or take to Lauries house back door. We have got so many boxes from Amazon by Fed ex that are partly open to.

From what I've been hearing the United States Postal System has been having issues with their employees in the sorting centers stealing things out of packages or just simply taking the entire package and several people have been caught and sent to jail for lengthy sentences as mail theft is a federal crime and carries some stiff penalties. The Post Master General for my State had to do a formal internal audit/investigation to find out who and how many of the employees were stealing and it was all happening at the Atlanta devision no surprise and mostly during the Christmas season again no surprise and I believe thirty some odd people including two drivers and several of the sorters got fired then arrested for mail fraud/theft so unfortunately this is an all to common thing within the US postal service. My family only ever uses DHL Express Shipping or FedEx as the normal mail service and UPS are known to have delivery issues with broken, stolen or mis-delivered parcels.DHL is the best in my opinion as they offer a delivery date guarantee, insurance to cover broken/stolen or mis-delivered packages which rarely happens with them and are always courteous and professional.
