HCA: Hermit Crab Association

I was talking to my dad about getting some plexiglass to make another second level, but I didn't know how to do it so he said he would be happy to do it, and we're going out today to buy some! He was going through all these ideas on how to get it to stay up lol, which was funny because no one in my family really cares about the hermies like I do I also asked him if he would possibly take me to a pet place to get some more supplies and he said sure. Good ol' Dad lol I'll post pics once we've got it made and ready!

Well we've got it made and now we're letting the glue dry We looked at plexiglass but it was really expensive so we looked all over the store for something else and decided on some rubber-ish ceiling tile I believe it was. It looks just like a rubber floor mat, little grippy things and all. It's being held up by pvc pipes, it looks really nice. I think the boy's will enjoy it, I can't wait to put it in there He was so funny at the store, he's looking for anything and everything that might work, after I had to decline some things because I wasn't sure if they were safe for hermies or not. It was fun lol

Thats so great dads are the best to there little girls. Mine was so much fun we worked together too and i'll never have a bigger hero or stronger supporter no matter what he was there and still is in my heart .Never take them for granted I was so lucky compared to alot of people I spent so much time with him I lost him 4 years ago. gone but never forgotten

Oh yeah don't worry, I'll take all precautions to make sure they're safe and sound with it lol.My dad and I spend a lot of time together, he lost his job at the beginning of summer so he's been home all the time. I love having him here though, he'll take me anywhere I need to go, even though I'm perfectly capable of driving myself wherever lol. My dad and I have a very strong relationship, I love him so much

Dad's are the best! Mine usually gets the job of carrying the tank from my car to the house when I'm home on breaks.... only problem now is I gotta find a way to get my new 20L from the apartment to my car by myself! hahaMy parents love when I take the crabs out to play or clean the tank - they were so amazed when they got to see a few shell changes two summers ago!

Heehee, I used to have dad carry my tank too, but then he had shoulder surgery so I had to struggle with it myself lol. I take that back, my mom likes the hermies, she's always asking me questions about them and she likes watching them climb all over things and fall off said things and what not.
