It's a great day when ....you've been holding back on buying new toys and decor for the hermies because of what your spouse would say and then they come home with a new guitar!!Hubby says I can go shopping!Da-da-da-dunt-dada Charge IT!Hey Ren, let the Tiki production begin!Operation tank expansion is now in progress!

HA you are kidding me!! Ohhh he did not think about the consequences of that purchase very carefully, did he??? LOLYeehawww.... Hermie Tiki's, here we come! Who's buying the bamboo, you or me?? I can do it either way, makes no difference. I dont know if you have a way to cut it, if not, BF can do it for us if I order it and then send it on to you. But then, if you wanted them uncut for your yard, that wont work. Whatever you decide is fine by me. Let me know.

Our conversation went something like this:Hubby, as he flips through the pages of a music store mag that has an online site: "Uh, I bought a little something today."Me: "What?"He flips pages and all I see are guitars. "Hold on a sec and I'll show you."M: "You did whut??" (as I spy the prices!)H: "It's just a little something. I really wanted it."M: (again) "You whatt??"He's beginning to snicker at my single word responses. "I bought a guitar today."M: (thinking of the cost of this impulse purchase) "You WHAT??"H: "A guitar, but compared to some of them, it's not very expensive."M: "So where is it?"H: "It'll take 8-10 business days to arrive. And I got a case for it too."M: "You BOUGHT A GUITAR BY MAIL?????????????????????????????"He cringes at my volume*lightbulb goes on in Deb's head!*He points to the guitar and waits for my negative reaction. I nod and look understanding, trying hard to keep the smirk off my face as hermie purchases dance in my head."Well, you've had yours a long time. I suppose I shouldn't be shocked that you'd like a new one. You DO play regularly, and you look pretty happy about it. How can I say no?"(I'm so understanding, huh??

That's great! I hope you have lots of fun hermie shopping!Ha ha! My husband did the same thing to me two years ago. He walked in the door holding a B.C. Rich Mockingbird and just smiled at me like "please don't scream" it was classic! He's an awesome bass player, so I didn't mind...even though he already had 2 others. But I got some nice new clothes out of it...

When my family tries to pull off stuff like that is usually my sis, trying to finagle a few more yards of that fabric for her new costume or outfit. she says, "How much is all that junk?!"I say, "How much is all of your junk?"Happily, the fabric store and pet store are in the same shopping center....

You're all dying to know what I bought so far, right? Let's see. I bought Spirulina, some other foods, a palm tree, a few bean shaped dishes cause my crabs have been eating their dinner dishes (shells), moss, a new hut, fake ivy, and raffia for tiki hut making. I'm going to try my hand at duplicating an awesome second level so I'll probably be scooting out for more things as need arises.I wanted coral but refused to pay Petco's inflated price. I saw it online for a fraction of the price. They wanted soemthing like $14 for a small piece. Not to knock Petco though. The one near me is awesome and has great staff.We were out today and driving past a music store. I nudge hubby, "Hey, you wanna get some new music books or sheet music for your new guitar?!"

Oh, absolutely. You're not done shopping yet!I think DH needs a whole lot of guitar accessories; that would only make sense to go with the guitar.
