HCA: Hermit Crab Association

I know we've had one of these before, but I couldn't find it to revive it, so here it goes again!!You know you're addicted to hermit crabs when:You see a crab's face (but not the shell) and know EXACTLY who it is, and say Hi to them and call them by name!!~GUILTY!!~ lol I mad a handmande hut for them with a window in it, and there was a face peeking out of the window, and it was Gaia!

You get excited at the grocery store when you find they're having a big discount on turkey necks (.50 a package for the neck and back) because that means the hermies will be living large that night.

You can't drive past a new pet store without stopping in to see if they carry hermies.

every time you go to a store, any store, your first thought is "what can i get for my crabs"?

You wake up and it's freezing in the house, you're wearing thin pajamas, and your first thought is whether or not the crabs are warm and you dash over to them to check if they're okay. (guilty, yesterday. xD)

You settle for the next best thing, more shells for them!

You sit in front of the tank for forty-five minutes, watching a grain of sand to see if it moves... mites?

Forget a day at the spa, who REALLY needs new tennis shoes?, I can live without a new shirt. Yep, you ask for a new tank heater for Christmas!

You're supposed to be shopping for Christmas presents and use that as an excuse to get the man to buy cholla wood and more shells "I'll divide it between their crabs, and ours!!"

When ya spend over 500.00 on hermit crabs and their supplies.

when you figure out you can use them like chinese throwing stars against unwanted intruders.

When you get 30 bucks from your grandparents and automatically think: Hermie gift money! *so guilty!*
