Did I ever tell you about Monkey?
We got a new pet last Fall. I can't remember if I ever introduced him here. That's right--he's male. In fact he's the man of the house. Most pets I have ever had have been female. That's just the way it worked out. He is adopted but I don't think he knows that.Let me go see if I can download the software I need to dump pics from my camera to my computer so yall cna see him. BTW, we have very few pets now. Foster is still hopping around of course and lives up to her namesake. (She's a minirex bunny.) Pumpkin has moved out--he/she lives on the patio. (sulcata tortoise) Some fish. and the crabs.Feels empty. Or it would anyway if it weren't for Monkey. Oh, and Zen got two guppies this weekend!!! A very fat and prego female and male. I don't think she has named them.

Komodo dragon. LOL! I'd like to see some nutcase try to keep one of those. (My brother jokes that he'd like one; he thinks it's funny that they have enough bacteria in their mouths to kill, even if the physical attack isn't enough to bring down the prey. 16 year old boys are weird.)

You notice how she conveniently skirts the issue. Clever, Kitty, clever!!Jedediah, I love your guesses! I've never heard of some of them but not surprised that you know of them. Ever consider a career with animals?*scratches head* What on earth is a Hippogriff and a Sugar Glider??

I did indeed. Kitty, I'm going to go find my Spork of Doom if ya don't relieve the suspense soon. (I'm still guessing you got your Flying Squirrel, but I'll throw out another guess for the heck of it: Capybera?) Hippogriff is a fictional animal made popular in the Harry Potter books. Sugar Gliders are exotic pets. They're marsupials and kind of like flying squirrels. They look like....

And because they are so adorable with those bunny teeth, here's a cururohttp://www.critterconnection.cc/images/animals ... /Cor2.jpgI did consider becoming a vet and I still think that I would enjoy working as a zookeeper, but it just didn't turn out that way. Well, at least I work as a zookeeper for my own private zoo
