Sam Berns dies, age 17

Sam Berns, a 17 year old living with progeria, a disease that accelerates the aging process, died on Friday night. This rare disease usually kills the child by age 13, but Sam hung on. His favorite football team, the Patriots, held a moment of silence for him the day that he was going to become their honorary captain.
